Use www.traffic.com
Use www.traffic.com I learned about this really neat website to use to find out how much traffic I will encounter on my way to and from work. I use www.traffic.com. It lets you find the route you want to use then set up markers for how long it takes to get to points along the way or for the whole trip, by finding the entry and exit from the route you are using. It will even sent e-mail alerts regarding traffic jams if you request it. I have set up my trip to and from work. I used one route for the entire trip. Then I set up key points along the way and used each one as entry or exit points for each segment. This way I am able to get how much of a traffic there is along the whole route and for each segment. If it is too bad, I can select a different route altogether. This has helped me plan when I need to leave for work in the morning rather than get frustrated waiting for a traffic jam. That's it!
